The Up-Stage Theatre Company

We are delighted to have entered into partnership once more with Priory Lower School in Bedford on their latest project. We will be working with years three and four over the next five weeks to create a production on the theme of War….we can’t wait to get started next week.

We started back today at Templefield lower School, and it was great to see everyone after their break. We are back at Flitwick Lower School tomorrow and our evening session on Thursday starts again in Barton. Happy New Year to everyone connected with Up-Stage…it’s going to be the best year yet!

To the casts and crews of Robin Hood and Romeo and Juliet for two outstanding performances at The Grove Theatre in Dunstable on Sunday. Robin Hood played to a raucous and appreciative panto audience and then Romeo and Juliet to an entranced audience. The representative from the Royal Shakespeare Company Open Stages scheme was hugely impressed with the production.

We had great fun working with everyone at the workshop at Leighton Buzzard theatre on Friday. We were really impressed with the standard of work produced, with the group devising a really moving piece of theatre on the subject of bullying. We look forward to seeing you all again in August. We are delighted to announce that Up-Stage will be starting new after school clubs at Edith Cavell Lower School and Beauchamp Middle school in the new half term. Watch this space for details.
